Short Story :-

"Hide"



 "..Eight, nine, ten, here I come!" Johnny shouted.

My concealing spot in the wardrobe was simply awesome. He wouldn't think that I'm here!

"Tracked down you, Rick!" I heard Johnny say. Rick escaped the dresser he was too large to even consider fitting in, so I was as yet jumbled on how he got in there.

I spied through the keyhole of the entryway.

I heard strides strolling across the noisy flooring planks of the ground. The storage room entryway gradually squeaked open. Light overwhelmed inside and dazed me briefly, and I saw the outline of an individual peering down on me.

"Daw," I said. "You tracked down me!" I left the storeroom, yet the light was no more. I was in a dim room without anyone else.

What's more, something ugly was peering down on me. I stepped back until it mixed into the murkiness, and I was unable to see it any longer.

A hand folded around my head and shut its long fingers over my mouth. I attempted to shout for help, however all that came out was a suppressed sound.

I just couldn't escape from its diseased hold...
